.jpg&w=125&h=125&q=100) At a recent conference for 260 International delegates in Cape Town, DMC South Africa organised a surprise welcome champagne party on the top of Table Mountain. Guests were taken by cable car to the top of Table Mountain where they were greeted by a Dixie band, juggling barmen, 5 star cuisine and sweeping views over the city . As the sun set the group had exclusive use of the popular Africa Cafe restaurant for dinner with a Cape Minstrel carnival band welcoming them to the restaurant.
The ultimate in Wildlife Safari in Southern Africa is the Luxury Houseboat experience Called Zambezi Queen on Chobe River, Botswana.
With its 5 star, 14 luxury cabins they operate 2 & 3 night cruise programmes with both land and water based game viewing, tiger fishing and includes all meals and beer, wine, water and soft drinks at mealtimes on board & during excursions.
There are direct flights from Johannesburg in South Africa to Chobe twice a week - This makes it a great add-on to a South Africa visit or Incentive. It is also just an hour & half drive from Victoria Falls in Zimbabawe / Zambia. We recently had group from Turkey charter the boat and they said it was on e of the best Incentive products they had experienced in 18 years.
As most Incentive programmes start in Cape Town and end in Safari, it is best to book your flights to South Africa arriving in Cape Town and departing from Johannesburg - airlines that fly into both Cape Town and Johannesburg are SAA with its Star Alliance partners, Emirates, Qatar, Eihad, Turkish airlines (which have had great reviews from our clients), KLM, British Airways( Also Lufthansa from October-March only)
We have 2 great low-cost airlines flying domestically to link the different destinations in South Africa - most popular is the flight on Kulula from Cape Town to Lanseria ( small airport in Johannesburg) which cuts off half an hour travelling time from Johannesburg to Sun City & Safari lodges in Pilansberg National Park which is malaria free.
There is a direct flight daily ( 50 seater) connecting Cape Town & Kruger National Park as well as a flight 3 x per week connecting Victoria Falls(Zambia) & Kruger Park - Both these flights are quite expensive.
Botswana as a Safari option, in the Chobe National Park with its over 100 000 elephants, is a great incentive option. Now there are 3 flights per week connecting Johannebsurg and Chobe National Park.
And if the budget allows, we have many excellent charter flights available to connect your destinations ( But as we know, charter is very expensive)
